Sand Retreat on the beautiful island of Eleuthera is all you would expect from a perfect beach house. Situated on the stunning Alabaster Beach, this 4 bedroom beach house has been remodelled throughout. It is a charming, contemporary retreat for friends and family. Through an impressive feat of engineering and architecture, the villa is literally suspended on columns above the beach.
The beautiful pink-sand beach is lapped by the shallow waters of the Caribbean Sea. The beach has been described as one of the most pristine in the whole of the Caribbean. The villa also offers a pool and hot tub, extensive wrap-around decks and outside space.
Beneath the elevated platform of the house, there is a large shaded dining area. Here you can grill your catch of the day and dine on the water’s edge. An outdoor shower is also located nearby at the back of the house for easy access to rinse off.
Inside, you will find the entertainment area. This has a flat-screen TV, DVD, and hi-fi sound system. The kitchen, dining area, and breakfast nook offer contemporary cooking and dining with extensive beach and ocean views. The ultra-modern kitchen features all stainless-steel appliances including French-door refrigerator, glass top range, wall oven, dishwasher, and microwave. The third space, the Chill Out area, hovers over the sea, giving a view and proximity to the water found in few houses anywhere in the world. Both the Chill Out Room and the Entertainment area have sofa beds (a total of 2 sofa beds in all).
The four bedrooms, each have their own luxurious bathroom (either en suite or across the hall) and an ocean-view deck. Watch the sunset from your bedroom window, or step onto your deck for a morning coffee. Feed the birds or fish and listen to the Caribbean lapping on the sand. One bedroom has a king bed, two have queen beds, and one has twin beds that can be converted to a king. Each room has its own AC air handler and can set its own temperature.
Amenities include full AC, WIFI, Apple TV, advanced water purification system, and laundry room with a washer and dryer.
Two paddleboards and two kayaks are provided. There is also a large three-person kayak well equipped for fishing or taking a longer journey.

Coco Resort on Eleuthera is located in the centre of the picturesque beach on Alabaster Bay. This spectacular beach stretches for a mile along the crystal clear Caribbean waters. It is usually beautifully calm so perfect for swimming.
For a group of family or friends, Coco Resort is the perfect option. Individual groups can have their own space and accommodation and then all come together in the wonderful, colonial style Main House. This very large and comfortable beachfront building features a spacious lounge area with sofas. There is a very large dining room with a commercial kitchen. There is also a full bar and bar area with flat screen TV. It even has men’s and ladies’ rest rooms. Outside the dining room, the spacious beachfront deck is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal or an evening cocktail and the legendary sunsets.
Along the beach are 3 pretty beach buildings in different colours ; red, green and yellow. Each building houses 4 en suite bedrooms. For groups that need more than 12 rooms, there is a two-bedroom/2 bathroom suite available for an additional charge. This brings the total number of bedrooms to 14.
Amenities include super-fast Starlink WIFI, Starlink satellite TV and daily housekeeping. There is a charcoal grill, back-up generator (for the Main House only), and air conditioning in all rooms except for the commercial kitchen.
The property is located just six miles (less than a 10-minute drive) from Governors Harbour. This is the main town on the island. Governors Harbour has a charming collection of 19th century homes and churches overlooking its historic harbour. Buy fresh fish and lobster every afternoon from fishermen at the town dock. Governors Harbour has grocery stores, restaurants, liquor stores and two banks with ATMs. There is a bakery, gift shops, and a medical clinic. Friday night Fish Fry in Governors Harbour, a street/beach party that brings together all the tourists and locals with food, drink, and dancing in the street, is not to be missed.
Eleuthera is famous for its 100 miles of spectacular, deserted beaches. It also feels safe and friendly. You can rent power boats, sailboats, kayaks, paddleboards and more. There are many boat excursions available.
